At 20TEN DJ, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our website or book our services.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, event date, and event location. We only collect the information necessary to provide you with an accurate quote and DJ services.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your personal data is used strictly to respond to your enquiries, manage your booking, and communicate with you regarding your event. We will never sell or rent your personal information. Enquiries submitted through our contact form go into our own private booking system, which only 20TEN DJ can access (protected by a password and two-factor sign-in). Your details are stored securely in the UK (London) with our database provider, Supabase. Our website and booking system are hosted by Netlify, and emails about your enquiry and booking are sent through our email provider, Resend. These providers only process your details on our behalf. Where any of them handle data outside the UK, they do so under the UK's approved safeguards. We keep booking records (such as contracts and invoices) for up to 6 years after your event, as required for tax purposes, and delete enquiries that don't go ahead after around 12 months. If you sign your contract online, we also keep a record of the name you typed, the date and time, and your device's IP address, as proof of signing. You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, at any time by emailing charlie@20tendj.co.uk.

3. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to ensure your personal data is kept secure. Once your event has concluded and any outstanding business is settled, your primary contact data will be safely archived or deleted upon request.

4. Cookies & Tracking

This website uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel), a tool that helps us understand how visitors use the site and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. It works by placing a small cookie in your browser and sharing limited data about your visit — such as the pages you view — with Meta (Facebook).

On your first visit, you'll be asked to accept or decline this. If you decline, the Meta Pixel will not load and no tracking cookie will be set. You can change your preference at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page, or by clearing your browser's cookies for this site and revisiting.
